CABA Bee School in the Apiary

Join members of CABA's apiary team each month for our new 2022 Bee School-Live and Hive Side!

Topics reflect the relevant management practices for each month/season and compliments the bee/colony life cycle. Includes demos, hands-on practice, and discussions. 

9:00am-10:00am Beginning Beekeeping

10:00am-11:00am Intermediate Beekeeping

CABA does have some extra protective gear pieces (gloves, slip-overs with veils) available to borrow on first come first serve basis. ALL participants must wear the minimum protective gear of a face and neck veil, regardless of skill/comfort level. Participants are encouraged to bring any equipment they may need help learning to use. Bring your own cleaned and disinfected hive tools.

CABA hives are located in the back of the property near the Barton Arboretum.
